Starting over...

I can hardly believe that I have not posted anything thing in almost 3 months.  I have been busy at work but that is no excuse.  The reason is that I am ashamed to say that I have not done very well on my weight loss goals in awhile.  So I am going to try and get back on track starting today, with my eating and exercising.  I am counting  calories and thanks to a new app for my smart phone it is pretty easy to do.  I went to the gym at lunch and swam for 30 minutes, and I hope to build that up some.  I also signed up with a personal trainer for 3 days a week starting next week for an hour a day. 

I am back up to 278 lbs and I am mad at myself for this.  I love food, all kinds and everything about it so that is the problem. 

Well today is a new day and we will see how I do.  I am going to post everyday during the week, I still do not have email at home so I will not get to post during the week.

I find that the food part of weight loss is the hardest - I love working out, and never have a problem getting to the gym or going out for a run. But managing my eating is a much bigger challenge. You just have to find the balance that's right for you. Good luck with getting back on track!
