Monday July 25, 2011 - My eating is off the charts...

I have a couple of good things to post about, and one awful binge to own up to.  First thing is that the house painting is coming along good, being as it is just hubby and I doing it.  We got a lot done this weekend and hope to have the main part of the house finished by Friday.  We will only like the laundry room which is going to be a nightmare from hell.  I am really proud of the way it is looking and I will post pictures when I get everything back together.

Now for the really ugly part..  I have been eating like there is no tomorrow and I do not know how to get it in control again.  I am so busy with the painting that I tend to nibble all day to give me energy.  I know I should not do this, but I am doing it.  I have completely quite logging my food or exercising except for the painting and just keeping the house together through all this changing everything around.  I have to get a grip people.    So how about sending me some get your ass in gear girl comments.  Or shape your ass up there women.  I know this is my own fault and I am trying to get a hold on it.  I laid out some steaks for tonight and I am going to make a nice salad so we will see how I do with that.

I am also going to start trying to get my posts in everyday like I should.  So I will be posting tomorrow.  Have a great night.

OK Debbie,
Here it is....Get your ass in gear, girl! Jut start over, log, exercise, and say no to food temptations! I need to follow my own advice in that area. Been hitting the kitchen a few too many times. Here, I'll turn around so you can kick me in the ass!
Ouch!

You can do it, Debbie. Just start right now watching your food choices and start logging with dinner tonight. Get the food under control first and then when the painting is done, add the exercise back in. Sounds like there is a lot going on. Do what you can do. Do your best.

It sounds like there's some chaos going on right now and that's always a trigger for me. I bet that's the same for you too. What I'd say is make sure you eat a proper meal at mealtimes and incorporate appropriate snacks if you are actually hungry. If you are just snacking but not eating anything substantial you might be eating too many carbs which can set you up for cravings.

I bet if you logged your food and exercise, you probably aren't doing as badly as you think. Get on the scale tomorrow morning for accountability and go forward from there. Just because you made a bad choice today, doesn't mean you have to keep making poor choices!

Tough love, coming right up. Put the goodies, snacks, chips and garbage down. And for your very next meal, regardless of how many points you have had today, get yourself right back on track. Don't wait for tomorrow. Don't wait until your house is done.

You are worth this effort, love. You are worthy of health and all of the best things that life have for you. Reach out and grab it!

I know how you are feeling. I was beginning to feel as if I might spiral, too. But I made myself pull out of it. And you can do it, girlfriend! You totally can. You have done it before. You can do this, now.

Hang tough. Hang in. This is for you. :D

(((hugs)))

You can do this. Heck post your food you eat every day if that makes you accountable. Do whatever it takes...cuz you are worth it!

You are SO worth the effort. The first thing is to begin with accountability to yourself. That's the only way to stop the spiral! Begin as others have suggested by logging your foods starting now. As Amanda suggested too, get on the scale tomorrow morning and take notice of the number. It may not even be as bad as you think. You can do it, we're here with you!

Debbie, please get back on the wagon NOW. Log your food, no matter what you have eaten. Protein and veggies. Steak and salad is just fine. Please, no junk food. If you want something in your mouth, chew gum, or put a pencil in there. Do not lose what it has taken you so long to accomplish. You have a lot going on. We all do at one time or another. Do the things you know to do to get back on track. You have done it before, and you can certainly do it this time! Hugs!
