Tuesday 11-23-10 Scales are stuck...

So far this week I am at the same weight as last week.  It did not help me eating at Sonic yesterday, and I know I could have found something that was not as bad as that cheeseburger.  Oh well what is done is done.  I had great plans to exercise when I got home yesterday, but the kids got there pretty much by the time I got home.  I ran through the door trying to get the kitchen where you could at least eat and start the grill.  Hubby and I were snapping at each other, to much togetherness or something.   Honest to God I love that man, but sometimes I could just strangle the hell out of him.

Doing great on my eating today, and I plan on making up for the trip through Sonic.  I have to start cooking tomorrow for work and Thanksgiving so I hope to just not gain when I weigh in next Wednesday.   I will not be weighing in this week because we will be in Port Gibson tomorrow night so I am going to miss my weigh in for the first time.  I am not happy about it either, because I really like going to my WW meetings.   I did remember my camera today so here is yesterdays food journal.

This is a picture of a mask that a friend of mine made.  Pretty cool huh...

The mask is cool. Wear it the next time your husband snaps at you and see what his reaction is. It may just change the mood, or not :-)

Best of luck for this week. One day at a time, girl! :)
I know what you mean about your hubs... I feel the same way at times. :)

Good luck this week! Scales suck sometimes, but plateaus are inevitable. The trick is getting past them!

I'm doing a 3-day detox, because I was seriously plateauing for 2 weeks. That and it'll gear me up for Turkey Day! And I feel much better and am already .6 pounds lighter than my lightest weight and almost 2 pounds lighter than my latest weight. I don't know if it's for everyone, but I'm doing okay so far. One day left.

Have a very happy healthy and safe Turkey Day!

Debbie: I did what you are doing for many years. My house is littered with food journals and scraps of paper detailing what I ate. Never worked. What Does? DAILY WEIGH INS! I got a professional doctor's scale when I turned 50 and step on it first thing every morning. It's impossible to cheat when you know you will face that number every day...when it's a week away, you think you have time to make up for your indiscretions!
