Wednesday 08-18-2010 Weigh in day

Boy does weigh in day seem to come around quick.  I am excited about this meeting though because I had no loss or gain last week and I hope to make it up this week.   Between all the walking and staying within my point range I hope to have a good weigh in.   I got up to walk this morning and I let the puppy in for a little while so this was a hard walk.  While I was walking on the treadmill he would lick my legs and try and get on the treadmill with me.  So I let him and he walked beside me for about 10 min.  It was funny...  Aussies are really smart and they like to be close to their humans.

The Cornish hens turned out great on the grill last night.  I cut them in half and put Mrs. Dash, salt, pepper and Italian dressing on them.  I only used 1 tps per bird and they were so juicy and tender.  I had to fix hubby some potato's and I cooked some fresh corn off the cob in a skillet with olive oil spray instead of butter.  It was great.  I did eat two ice cream treats last night though a 1 point WW fudge bar before I walked and a push up sherbet after I walked.  I was hot and wanted something cold.

I was wondering what everyone thought about me posting my food journals, is this a good thing or a bad thing?  Let me know..    Here is yesterday's food journal and I am going to go read some of the posts since last night.

Sorry to be harsh... If you didn't post the journals we could never have helped with some of the food choices that you made in the first few days.. If it is beneficial to you, and one person can throw in their 2 cents to help, then continue.

Yes, please continue posting your food journals. I like to see what other people are eating....partly because I'm nosy :) and partly because it gives me ideas for meals! And if it helps you keep accountable, then it's a win-win! Good luck at your weigh in!!

I think posting pics of your food journal is a great idea! It saves you the time of having to type it out.

This is your blog. Your sandbox. If posting pics of your food journal is helpful to you, then keep on posting them. They certainly don't bother me, one bit. :D

Your dog made me laugh. I love Aussies. My Aussie cross is a total Velcro dog. But I doubt that she would ever get on a treadmill. She is against type and is a complete and utter couch potato. She thinks it is unfair that she has to get up and walk outside to go potty. lol

That's funny about the dog. You should get some video tape of that.

As for your journal, keep posting them. They are easy enough for anybody who isn't interested to skip.

Ever try roasting your corn on the cob directly on the grill? It's delish and no condiments or seasonings needed. :-) Try it
