Here we go on the shoes again..

I got up this morning at 4:30 to walk and it went well, but I had to walk in just my socks.  When I walked yesterday my shoes rubbed a blister on my left heal.  I forgot to put my good walking socks on and I paid the price.  It was not to bad walking in just my socks since the treadmill is padded.  I am going to try and put a bandaide on it this afternoon and walk again.  I walked 3/4 of a mile again and watched James Bond while I was walking.  I hope to walk 30 min every morning until I can build up to a mile in 30 min.  Right now I am walking at 2.5 miles per hour with a cool down at the end.

I think I did really well on my eating yesterday and we even had chinese yesterday for supper.   We are going to Up the Creek tonight to eat seafood so I am going to look for something baked or grilled.  I have never tried blacken catfish, but I thought if they had it I would order that.  Has anyone out there ever had blacken catfish or any kind of fish?  Let me know and if you liked it or not.

Now for the best news of all Alexis Renee Lowe 7lbs 2 oz 19 inches long.  I am a grandmother again.  We are so excited to have another girl.  We are going to Atlanta to see her in Sept.  I can hardly wait.

Here is my food journal for yesterday..  I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Congratulations Grandma!!!

I love blackened everything. Fish is great blackened and I blacken stuff at home all the time.

If you like catfish, and you like spices, you will like it blackened.

I only walk 20 minutes a day. I bought a TV series I like and walk to it every morning, wow it has made ALL the difference in the world. Yeah a fellow treadmiller!!

Congratulations on the arrival of little Alexis :)

Yeah, take care of that blister as soon as you can. I used to get blisters from running and thought they would just heal. Instead I got blisters on top of blisters. Less than ideal, trust me.

Aww, congratulations! There's absolutely nothing in this world as precious as grandbabies, is there?? Way to go on your walking and your eating! I love blackened catfish, it's usually spicy, so be aware of that.

Yikes, I do not like blisters - ouch. But I do have my double lined socks too to avoid them.

Congrats on being a grandma again, you lucky duck. I have one granddaughter - the love of my life.
