Sunday April 14, 2013. Getting more exercise.

Well I have had a great last couple of days with getting my exercise and moving more.  The active link seems to help me want to move more.  I guess to see how may points I can earn a day.  I earned 5 activity points yesterday and most of it was just cleaning my pool.   Today I am going to get in some house cleaning and a few minutes on the Wii fit today.

My eating has been pretty good this week and I am tracking great so lets see what happens this week.  I am working on giving up artificial sweeteners and so far so good.  I am drinking unsweet tea with Stevia and I like it.  I am eating lots of fruits and have started eating a half grapefruit at night for my snack.  I am down 25 lbs. though and hope to be down 10 more by May 1st.  That is my first small goal is a 10 lb. lost.  I am going to try and look at the small picture instead of the big picture this time and take it slow.   I have been plodding along this last couple of months and my husband brought this to my attention.  He was not being mean, but I came in a couple of weeks ago and told him that I had lost .02 lbs. and he wanted to know what it was costing us for me to go to Weight Watchers and the Health Plex each month.  He made me stop and think that I need to get with the program.  So I am getting with the program so to speak.   Sometimes it just takes someone pointing out the obvious to you to get your attention.

It is raining here today and I am so sick of it.  I was hoping to finish cleaning my pool today and start if filling up with water again.  Have a great Sunday.

It's rainy and cold here today too - so lame for mid-April. Sounds like you are doing great - keep it up!

There have been times when I was feeling bad after tough workouts and was unable to follow my training regime. That was not what I was planning to do when I've started going to the gym :) My trainer has really helped me by telling a lot about the importance of propoer nutrition and by giving advices on how to improve it. Now I am trying to make my food as rich in nutrients as possible. Still, our everyday life sometimes does not allow receiving all vitamins and minerals from the food we take. Besides, after workouts our muscles need special support in order to recover properly. I was advised to take Second Wind by Military Grade. This is new post-workout supplement, which supports muscle recovery without any trauma. Now I am feeling better and stronger than ever before.
