Friday August 10, 2012 - Yahoooooooo it is Friday..

I am so glad that it is Friday and I am off for 2 days.  Well I had a great weigh-in and I have lost 5 lbs this week for a total of 10 lbs in two weeks.  It seems that watching my sugar and carbs is doing the trick.  I have not really craved anything sweet, but one time and I ate a little ice cream and boy did it do a number on my stomach. 

Not much exercise this week to speak of due to being so busy at work this week.  I have got to get caught up so that I can swim at lunch.  Right now I am working pretty much through lunch.  I have tried to swim at home, but the weather has not bee right all week.  I am looking forward to a warm weekend so that I can go swimming Sunday.  I have to run down to deer camp Saturday and help hubby take a new freezer so no swimming Saturday.

Good news though my heel is so much better that I am going to try and do a little walking this weekend.  Probably just up and down my driveway, which is 1100 feet long so it is a pretty good walk if you do it a few times.  I am scared of walking on the road right now due to the fact that we had a lady come up missing here a couple of months ago and they still have not found her.  I do take my dog with me though and that seems to keep people away.

Oh, Debbie, you are doing great! Ten lbs in 2 weeks is almost a miracle. Please don't overdo it with your foot and by all means don't get on the road until you can RUN away fast from the bad guys. I am so happy it is going so well for you now.
