Tuesday December 13th, 2011 Week 1

So far I am falling right back into tracking my food and measuring what I eat.  I have also switched to whole wheat everything or at least what I can get in it.  You would think I learned my lesson the first time around with my weight.  I found out it was a lot easier to put back on then it is to take it off.  I am having to really fight with myself this time to accomplish it and I sure picked a hell of a time to go on a diet right at Christmas.  Oh well I guess there is never an easy time to try and lose weight. 
Supper tonight is going to be baked fish and a baked potato with a green salad.  I am back on water pretty much all the time.  I do light the Sprite Zero's though instead of a diet coke. 

I hope to start my walking back this weekend if my foot lets me.  My foot is one of the medical problems that I mention yesterday that I have had.  It seems that I got Plantar F. in my left foot.  I cannot even spell the last part of it, but what happen is that I stretched the tendon that runs from my heal to my toes and at night when I am asleep it tightens up and when I try and walk on it first thing in the morning it hurts like hell.  So I have to stretch it and rub it.  No more going bare foot for me anytime soon.   It is getting better thanks to pain patches and meds so my doctor thinks I can start my walking back this weekend.  He told me to take it 15 minutes at a time and see how it feels.  So keep your fingers crossed cause I miss walking.

You are doing fine so far, but did indeed pick a helluva time to start a diet. Just be strong, get your food and water straightened out first and then work on keeping the junk food out of the house and exercise. What about biking?
