Tuesday August 16, 2011 - Blogging again...

Well I am hoping to be able to start posting on a regular basis again starting with this post.  I am going to start posting again on my lunch hour every day and on the weekends I will be at deer camp so I can post then also.  Today was my first day back on WW and it has gone well, and I will be posting my food journal on tomorrows post for every one to see.  I have come to realize that I am going to have to get my shit together and stay on WW or I am going to gain my weight back that I have lost so far.  I am up 20 lbs from where I was and I can feel it in my clothes so here we go again.

I get so busy with other things going on with work and my house that I snack without really paying attention to what I am doing.  I have done great today and I am going to just take it one day at a time and not look at tomorrow or next week.  I can do this and I will do this even though I have gotten off track for a while.  I am back on track now and hopefully I can stay there for a while.

Now for a different subject altogether.  We went to the nursing home to see my hubby's grandmother yesterday cause it was her birthday and she turned 100 years old yesterday.  She is doing pretty good except for starting conversations over every 5 minutes.  She does not remember anything and will ask you the same questions over and over, but hey I hope I look as good as her when I get old.   Here is a picture of her for every one to see.  She was born in 1911 on a ranch in Oklahoma and was the only girl in 5 children.  Her mother died in child birth and now she has out lived her children and 4 of her grand children.  My hubby is her oldest living relative and we have had her for the last 6 years.

Have a great day.

Wow, she does look great!

I have found that if I journal my food, I do much better. My rule is if it goes in my mouth, write it down. Tedious, yes, but it really does make me think before snacking.
