Monday February 28, 2011 - Binge from Hell - Helppppppppp

I have had a terrible weekend with my eating and my house guests.  I am so ready for them to move into their own place that I could scream.  I love the baby and I really care for them, but to many people in one house and only one slave me.  I had to work Saturday getting everything ready to move at work and then I worked all day Sunday doing laundry and cooking and cleaning at home.  Hubby worked in the yard, but the kids now they hauled ass for our others son's to play on the computer.  To say I was pissed off would be an under statement.  I am going to let it go for now since they only have two weeks and they will be out of my house.

Now all of this has thrown a wrench in my eating habits big time.  My nerves are shot and I went on one hell of a binge yesterday and ate everything but the kitchen sink. Oh and I was looking at it, I wonder what stainless steel tastes like with a little ketchup on it.  lol.  I got up this morning and told hubby that I am going to run away from home and he can call me when every one is gone.  I am back on track today and I am going to start posting my journals again starting tomorrow and see if I can get some kind of control back on my eating.  It is so easy to get off track and jump right back into eating bad.  I have done so good for so long and let something get me off schedule and it is open season on eating.  Well no way am I going to gain this weight back so we are going to make some changes at my house starting tonight.    Wish me luck.

I would love some feed back on things that get you off track and how you deal with it and get back on track or stay on track.  Have a great day..

I'm sorry... that sounds so super annoying and frustrating. However...

I would say get right back on track and don't look back. Plan and prepare, prepare, prepare. Drink drink drink water. Try to think POSITIVE thoughts and focus on your SUCCESSES (not mistakes).

You can do this Debbie!!! I'm rootin' for ya!

God bless,

The things that get me off track are the things I can't control. Exactly as is your family situation you are in now.

Could you have a "family meeting" and politely tell them how much you love them and care for them, but you have a full-time job and need some help with (insert list). Be specific. I know they are very young, and it could be that they don't know "how" to run a household, and don't realize that it takes teamwork.

You need to put yourself first and keep your head on straight in order to be able to help them. I feel for you, Debbie, because I can give you a list of suggestions, but can't help myself in a similar situation.

Focus on your health and your diet and your husband, remember this is a temporary situation, and take it one day at a time.

Any change in routine & stuff that I can't control throw me off the track as well.

Debbie - I'm not going to pat you on the back, but I will say this: I'm proud that you admitted this episode. I hope you feel better.

I've got to tell you i'd be the same way!! I have to have "me" time or else i'd go nuts. That's why i love going out for walks alone. It's where i figure things out in my mind!!
Is there a number of days/weeks they have in mind till they find somewhere else to live??
