Day 14 - Late post...

I am up with the chickens this morning, oh hell I am up before the chickens.  It is 4:30 in the morning here in Mississppi and I can not sleep at all.  To much going on at work and a lot on my mind with that.  They have hired my replacement and she starts Monday.  I am excited for her, but she is really young and I do not think she is going to be able to handle the job.  I guess we will find out next week though, and besides it is like hubby said I do not have a dog in that race anymore.  I have to train her and will be there for the next 3 weeks to do so.   I am so ready to start my new job full time and get in some kind of routine.   I think that is a lot of my problems with sleeping lately is the stress of splitting my time between the two companies.

You know my blog is about a lot of things, weight loss is just one of them.  I started this blog about my weight loss journey, but I also use it as a place to bounce my thoughts and what is happening in my life at this time.  My blog is sort of like a stress relief for me and it really seems to help to talk about what is going on, or I should say type about it.  lol..

I did not get to post yesterday so this is actually Friday's post and I will be posting another post this evening when I get home.  I received another blogger award and I am going to post it and pass it on to a few of my favorite bloggers.  Have a great day..

Good luck with the new job!!

I know what you mean about the blog being a stress reliever. I guess that's why I've become a blog addict. It's great to be able to write stuff down and get things off your chest.

I was up before the chickens too! 3:45 am! Couldn't get back to sleep. I hate when that happens!

You're husband is right.....and good luck at your new job!

I think your husband is right. Let the old job go except for what you have to do to train the new person. Focus on the positive and that will help get you through the next 3 weeks.

I am often up with the chickens, too. I can't wait to hear about your new blog award. Don't stress too much about the job transition; you are not the only person who is responsible for making sure that it goes smoothly.

I know how you feel about leaving the job in someone else's hands. I had a really hard time with that and had a big twinge when I found out she'd quit a year later.
