Sunday 11-21-10 Loads of energy this morning...

I am up with the chickens this morning and I am fixing to start cleaning this trailer to get ready for next week.  I am just waiting for hubby to get up this morning and get out the door.  I have been reading some really great posts about every one's eating and exercising and it has given me new inspiration to get moving this morning.   I am going to get everything in shape here and go home and tackle that damn exercise ball today.

This is the last week of the old Weight Watchers program and I am wondering just how much it is going to change.  I have read some stuff on the Internet about the changes and I am not sure I am going to like it very much.  I have decided that if I do not like it I am going to just stay with the old program since I am doing to so good and still go to my meetings and weigh in.  From my understanding a lot of things like all fruit and most veggies are going to be zero points.  Now this is good in one way, because it will encourage people to eat more fruit and veggies.  The other way to look at it is that you will be consuming a lot more points, because all that fruit that you were counting is now zero points.  I am afraid that I will start to eat more then I should on this plan.  I am just going to have to wait and see.  I am going to give it a try for at least a couple of weeks to see how I do, but I am going to weigh and really journal my food carefully.  I have not had one gain since I started this plan in July and I want to keep it that way.

Okay, have a great Sunday and I am going to go read some posts this morning.  Here is my food journal from yesterday..

I'm not on weight watchers but from what I have read like you I have some mixed feelings about the new program. Too much fruit can be a bad thing...it's sugar...some fruit is ok...but, unlimited (no points) sounds kinds scary.

I have done A LOT of research on fruit and I think it's crazy to tell anyone it's OK to eat as much fruit as they please. All that fructose can do such a huge damage, it's scary. But then, it's an easy obstacle to overcome. Just limit your fruit intake to say 2 pieces (or servings) a day and you are good.
I am not on WW, but I am curious to know about the changes. Will be interested in reading your impressions once the program is out.

Good luck with the new program. Hopefully it'll bring you just as much success as the old (current) one. Fingers crossed!

I was up early & going today too for some reason. Unusual for me for a Sunday. The new program scares me - but I will give it a shot first.
