Wednesday 10-27-10 Time to step on the scales again.

Well it is my weigh in day again and I am looking forward to it.  I have had a great week and I hope it shows on the scales tonight.  I have stayed within my points all week and even gotten in some exercise at home.  Work has keep me moving lately also, we worked till 6:45 last night loading a truck so when I got home I only ate a small piece of fish and a salad.  On my scales I have lost 3 lbs, but you know how that goes when you step on the Weight Watcher scales.  It is so funny how something can make or break your day.  If I have lost I will be in a good mood for days, but now if I have gained or stayed the same it will depress the hell out of me.   I weigh every morning naked at home before I get dressed to come to work.  I know you should not do this, but I do it anyway.  This is my habit before I get dressed or anything.

Today's post is short and sweet.  I will post my results on my weigh in tomorrow.
Here is yesterday's food journal and I gave myself a happy face for keeping my points low.  I am trying to do Allan's challenge..  YOU HEAR ME ALLAN... lol..

Yeah, I've gotten into the habit of weighing myself every morning. I try not to get upset about any of it until my weigh in day (which I think I've set to Saturday, lol) but it does keep me accountable for the rest of the days, which I think I need. I know that it could be water weight or a number of other things, but still. For me, for some reason, it helps.

Ok here's my take on the weigh in's. I weigh myself every day too. I do it as a check tool to see if I am going in the right direction. I used to cry if I didn't have a loss or it I stayed the same. I even allowed the scales to dictate my moods at one time. But after about 20 weeks or so of doing WW. I learned there is other things that I needed to focus on to tell me how I was doing. I slowly stopped allowing the scales to make or break my day. I took measurement of my body and I saw great losses there when the scales may not have shown it. PLEASE PLEASE do not allow your weight loss to be controlled by the scales. THEY LIE!!! Really they do! smile. Now go get a tape measure and start recording.

Good for you for having a good week! I also wi daily - I need to. I try not to let it affect my mood though, but sometimes it isn't easy, esp. when I see an undeserved "up".
Hope you have a great WI!

I'm a daily weigher too. It helps me to stay on track.

And you did amazingly well on points.
