We had the coolest thing happen this weekend. Freckles my dog and my husband's puppy were following hubby on the 4 wheeler when a mother deer and two yearlings jump up and took off. Freckles ran one of the yearlings into our dog pen and the gate shut on it. It could not have been more than a couple of days old because it was wobbly. It ran around for a while trying to get out, but finally settled down. I figured the mother was close by and it knew it. We open the gate after it got dark and let it out. It was so pretty with spots and everything, and it was a little buck.
Really I had a pretty good weekend with my eating. I brought some bagels to try and see if I liked them any better than when I was in Calif. a few years ago. The first time I tried them I thought someone has served me a stale donut. I put some of the Laughing Cow cheese on them and it was great. I have found something else that I can now have for breakfast that I can eat on the run. I actually had one for lunch on Saturday and it was pretty good with my chips. Busy weekend overall, with coming home Sunday and cleaning the pool. I swam for an hour and ended up with my shoulders and back slightly blistered.
Okay enough yakking here is my food journals for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I am going to go and catch up on what everyone has been blogging about for the last 3 days. See ya.....

On a diet, trying Bagels and liking them is the same as trying Ice Cream and liking it.. Stop !!! No Bagels !!!
It must be so pretty at deer camp!
Hey - you had venison tacos and did not invite me? Hmmm, well, hunting season is 2 months away, we are out of venison but hopefully will not be in just 2 months :-)
Do you know what killed more of my people than Hitler..... BAGELS !!!
Oh, Allan! Hitler? really? lol - you crack me up.
Check your local grocery for "bagel thins" and try the whole wheat variety. I'll often have half a bagel thin with natual peanut butter for breakfast. It's under 200 calories and tides me over for a couple hours. Whole grain and protein are my morning friends!
