Happy April Fools Day...

Well I had a really great day today.  I woke up this morning and had two lite waffles with peanut butter on them and a diet coke.   I fixed a left over deer burger for my lunch with pepper jack cheese and green beans that I had left over from last night.   I turned down lunch with my boss to stay on my diet, and I really love going out to eat.  

I hope everyone has a great Easter this year.  We are headed for my mothers to cook and let the little kids hunt eggs.  This will be our first year to have one of our grandchildren here.  Our youngest son Matt and his wife Heather moved out here a few years ago and they have a 9 month old.  Issac, who is his nanny and pawpaw's pride and joy.  I got him an Easter basket, even though he is to young to do anything with it.  I am looking forward to this Easter and I am planning on taking along food that I can have.  I am making a mexican dish that is low fat and I love it.  My family also loves it and they always want me to bring it.   I am going to take a picture of it and put the recipe out for everyone on Sunday. 

Okay here are some Easters questions for you.

1. Do you die eggs or use plastic

2. Do you hunt eggs or hide

3.  What do you do with the left over real eggs

4.  Basket or bucket

5.  Do you do a money egg.

Hide. Or, I did when Son was a kid.

Happy Easter! I think you should let yourself eat out every once in a while. Most restaurants have a "lighter" menu, so maybe you can choose from there. Have fun egg hunting!

You are doing great! I totally plan on indulging a bit on Easter. Who can pass on macaroni salad? Not I.

To answer your questions
1. Do you dye eggs or use plastic? We dye eggs but just to eat. We put plastic eggs in their baskets filled with treats.
2.Do you hunt eggs or hide? Neither. My mother does a huge hunt for the kids. So fun. It is always toys. You get a sticker on your bucket and you have to go find everything with your sticker on it.
3.What do you do with the left over real eggs? I usually make egg sandwiches or deviled eggs.
4.Basket or Bucket? Easter bunny fills a basket and we hunt with a bucket
5. Do you do a money egg? No... but it sounds fun.
