My family the diet consultants

Sorry for not blogging yesterday, but it was a busy day at work and my cold has kicked back at me.  I hate a cold and this one has setup camp.  Oh well, back to the meds.
I have been reading all the blogs lately and some are so funny that I laugh so hard reading them that I cry.  This is not really funny, but you would have to meet my family.  I have a sister who I love dearly and she weighs about 105 lbs if she is wet and got clothes on.  She does not gain a pound and if she does, well watch out because she is on a misson.  She wears a size 3 or maybe a 2, I don't know, but she is small.  Well anyway her and my mother have made me their pet project this month.   They call me up at work yesterday, and want me to try a diet program called Simply Weight Loss.   It seems that my sister (who does not work) was listening to the radio and heard about this program.   Okay, I am super busy at work, not that they understand this.  I manage  4 companies and an office staff and they call me up wanting me to call in and order this program.   Now my mother gets involved, she is offering to pay for it.   Okay, I gave in and called and talked to this girl name Amy.    It seems to hear my sister tell about it that I will lose  50 lbs in 6 weeks.  Okay lets think about this, 50 lbs in six weeks...  What are they going to do starve me..  No I have to drink 64 oz of water a day, I am not a water drink my any means.  I have to put something in it to make it taste like something and it seems that this is okay.   I ask this Amy person what I have to do, and what I have to eat.   I can eat my regular food, all I have to do is take a handful of herbs a day, RIGHT.    Tune in for this one folks because I ordered it.  Why not, if my mother wants to pay over $400 dollars for it.  Why the hell not.

I will keep everyone posted on what it is like.  I am suppose to get it tommorrow and here is the good part Amy is going to call me once a week to check on me.  Has anyone else out there ever heard of this program or tried it.  If you have let me know.  Stay tuned.....

Hello !

I'm still trying to figure out the logistics of this whole blogging thing, and I have realized that there are quite a few regular commenters who I wasn't following! (Ignorance, I promise, not bad manners!)

Now that I have you in my Google reader, you will see me showing up on your blog...finally!

I have lots of catching up to do to see what the story of YOUR journey is!

I haven't heard of that, but anything that claims you can lose that much weight that fast (unless you are on Biggest loser working out 6 hours a day) doesn't sound safe....

I have been just doing my own thing, not following any other plan but my own. I am eating what I like (but healthier versions of it) and trying to fit in whatever activity I can (like jumping rope outside my house during the commercials of Biggest Loser last night). Read some of the success stories on my blog, most lost well over 100 pounds, just staying consistent.

You can do it even without all the herb/drink stuff!

E-mail me if you want and I can give you tons of recipes that are quick and easy and lower in calories. slim-shoppin@comcast.net

Have a wonderful day!

I've never heard of this program. I don't believe in programs that promise such a big weight loss in such a short amount of time. I hope it's healthy and won't cause you any problems. Your mom's buying, so do it!

Hi Debbie,

Thanks for visiting my blog! My pink bike is an Electra Hawaiian Cruiser, and I ordered it from my local bike shop - they had other Electras there that I could test-ride, but I wanted that pink bike!

Now I'm off to read your blog... :)

Wow, Debbie! I, too, am very suspicious about the way that program sounds. Be careful! I look forward to hearing all about it when you get it and try it out.
