Thursday April 7th, 2011 - Pissed off at myself and the scales..

I am so pissed at myself this week and I really do not know what I am doing wrong.  I fully understand that I am not getting enough exercise and I am going to try and correct that starting today.  I just have so much going on with the new job and trying to get my exercise room back in order.  Going on the cruise and having the kids move in with us really screwed me up.  I am going to sit down tonight and go over my food journals and make me a walking schedule.  I need help people.    Oh and if you wonder why I am so made I stayed the same this week no loss or gain.  This is a really short post because I have been out of the office all day.

I will try and post from my phone tonight.

Debbie, I know you hoped for a loss, but it's not all about the scale. You "felt" that you had lost, so you probably have, and it's just not showing on the scale. You are right to analyze your food journals and see what you were doing when you were losing the most. And you know it does get harder as you weigh less. Maybe there are some carbs you could cut somewhere? Are you drinking your water?

Debbie don't get so much upset about that, I know you can still cope starting today.. just make sure you stick on your plan this time. Hopefully you'll shed some pounds off on your next weigh in.

Good for you for going over your journals - my weight specialist says that it's 90% diet and 10% exercise, however, exercise is very important for your health and also for firming up. When life gets in the way, it's important but difficult to keep on track - I've been going through the same thing. ((( hugs )))

I know its upsetting that you didn't lose this week. But given everything that's going on allow yourself to be proud that you didn't gain either. That's a big accomplishment too, don't lose sight of that. Hang in there!!

My mum was looking over my shoulder the other day when I was on your blog and she spotted the picture of you with your bike 'Merlin' and she thinks it's fantastic! Do you ever get the chance to ride it often?
