Thursday 04/21/11 - I am down in the dumps.. Gained last night.

I am so discouraged over last nights weigh in and upset.  I gained 3 lbs and I do not even know how it happened.  I am going to have to do some serious soul searching this weekend and look at what I am eating.  I just started my exercise back on Monday so I only had two days of exercise before I weighed.  I am not giving up just re-grouping.  Short post today not much time.

Have a great weekend..

Sorry to hear that, Debbie. Scales can act in strange ways. Don't let it bother you too much. Fluctuations are normal as are plateaus. Keep working at it and the pounds will eventually go away. *hugs*

Debbie! So sorry to hear that. Sometimes looking back at what we've eaten is a good way to spot things which we might miss on a day to day basis.

The fact that you're starting to exercise again is the main thing you should take from this week and be proud that you're starting it again. Good luck and have a happy weekend :)

Hang in there, Debbie. I am up a couple today myself and I know exactly how I got here. I put myself right back on the plan and I'm making myself stick to it today. My jeans feel a bit snug today and it serves me right. I was bad for the last couple of days.

((( hugs ))) Likely it is just a blip on the scale - KOKO and it will be gone soon. I've been told by my specialists to exercise for your body, but don't expect weight loss from it - it's great to do, but it's really 90% what you eat.
Maybe it's sodium for you?

There are so many different factors that can effect that. I wouldn't worry too much. You're committed and that's what really counts. You will get there!

Old WW or new points plus?

I had to go back to the old WW, because I was gaining!
The important thing is don't give up!!

Are you drinking your water? Try going back and looking at your food journals when you were losing 2 lb per week. Sodium, perhaps?

Bummer, Debbie. Just remember that this is a marathon and not a sprint. Keep plugging away and you'll be back on track in no time!

Keep fighting Debbie. This is a temporary blip on an otherwise downward slope. Take it in your stride, take a breath and realise you're already thinking about the loss you'll see in next week's weigh-in.

It's jsut a moment in time....keep doing the right things and the scale WILL catch up.

Don't let the scales get you down. You know that what are you doing is the right thing. The scales WILL catch up to your efforts. Keep your head up!!!
