Day 17 - Staying on track with my points

I have been doing a great job of staying on track with my points and so far I am loving it.  I eat pretty good and healthy so I am happy.  Yesterday was a crazy day with food, I guess cause I slept all day and only grabbed something that I could microwave.  Tacos for supper last night was okay, just something quick when I got home from deer camp.

I have a couple of new recipes coming out this week and I will be posting them.  My blog posting is going to be kind of crazy this week because I am training someone for my job and she does not have the experience that she is going to need.  Wish me luck.

Well I am so excited we booked our cruise today for Feb 17, 2011.  We are going with some friends of ours Connie and Dale Truett.   We are leaving out of New Orleans and going to Cozumel Mexico.  I am looking forward to this so much.  I am going to leave my cell phone in the car and not have to worry about anything.  I will take lots of pictures though and post them when I get back.

Here is yesterday's food journal and I am off to read some posts.

I love me some deer sausage snack sticks.. there is a amish farm somewhere nearby that will package your deer meet however you want... a friend of mine's family are avid hunters.. and I love when she brings me those snacks.. Yum..

You're doing great! The points system is awesome.

Good luck with the points plan, Debbie. Hang in there. The new employee may work out better than you think. Someone with more experience might be harder to train to do things the way your boss wants them done. They would do everything their own way.

Hmmm deer sausage, who would eat that stuff? Oh yeah I would! Have 30+ pounds of it in the freezer, sweet!

You are so clever to post your points...good for accountability and I think I need some of that myself. I'm jealous of your upcoming cruise. Take some cool pics for us.
