Tuesday 10-26-10 Allan's Challenge...

I am on day 2 of the challenge and I am drinking he hell out of water.  I do not really know how may calories I am taking in because I am staying within my point range.  I did get all my water in yesterday though and made lots of trips to the bathroom.  Tomorrow is my weigh in day again so we will see how all this water is effecting me.   I am feeling great and I have a new NSV to brag about today.  I got dressed this morning and put on some boots that I brought last year and I could zip them all the way up to my knee.  OMG I am so excited...  I could only zip them half way last year and did not get to wear them.  I am looking forward to wearing them this winter.

Worked out on my wii last night for 30 min. and cleaned house so I got a pretty good workout.  I want an exercise ball so I can start doing a few ab exercises.  I hope to make a trip to Walmart and see what they have this weekend.  Does anyone use an exercise ball now and do ab exercises on it.  I also hope to start doing some light weights in a few weeks to help build a few muscles.

Weight Watchers is working for me great and I can have just about anything I want to eat.  Everything has a point value so as long as I know the nutrition values I am okay.   Ice cream is my one true weakness and I have learned to deal with this addiction with the Weight Watcher fudge bars.   My only problem is that the more weight I lose the more my points drop.   I am trying new veggies this week steamed mostly and grilled for zero points.  We are having blacken catfish again tonight with grilled veggies and some green beans.

Here is yesterday's food journal..

I have an exercise ball...and I've done the ab exercises once, lol. But I did just get it, so that's my excuse. I think it's gonna be great when I finally start using it.

What is your favorite Wii exercise? I have Wii Fit and like the stepping games, but my husband has offered to get me a new one for Christmas. What is your suggestion?

Yep I got the ball. I used it for weeks at the computer desk, to help with my core strength. It works I just am not one that can do the ab exercises but I think you will love it.

As far as your boots...WOO HOO!!!

I found a replacement for ice cream. Not sure if you will enjoy it as much as I do but they are Frozen lemonaide cups by Dannon or Nestle. I love them TONS! I eat 1 everyday and they take the craving away too. I think it has something to do with the whole lemon thing. I have tried the plain and pink and the strawberry ones too. Let me know what you think. smile. Now go potty...LOL

On WW a point is about 50 calories, give or take. So your point target of 28 is about 1,400 calories a day. Fiber and fat affects the points value when you calculate, but 50 calories is a safe average.

exercise ball's are fantastic things - i use one for doing crunches and wall-squats....it's odd but using the ball really focuses the right muscles instead of unintended ones, e.g when i do squats without the ball, my back and arms automatically put in effort too to ease the weight on the legs, but doing squats against a wall with the exercise ball between me and the wall focuses ALL the weight onto my leg muscles and isolates them...same for crunches.

I'm liking the newly-zippable kinky boots ;o). Keep going strong.

Sounds like you're doing great. I saw on YouTube once a comprehensive "abs" program using only your body and your sofa. Check it out until you can get the ball. I am avoiding the ball becdause it's more clutter, but I haven't started any thing else for my abs except the super hula hoop on Wii Fit.

By the rules of the challenge, should you be eating the points you would eat at your goal weight, though?
