Thursday 08-26-10 I lost another lb..

Yep I am down 1 lb from last week. I am working on my next 5lb star at Weight Watchers. I am proud of my 1 lb, because it gets me closer to my goal. I am taking it one 5lb star at a time. I get a happy star for every 5lbs that I lose so that is my goal, one star at a time. I put on some Capri's this morning that I could not even fasten a month ago and they fit good. It is like having a new outfit to wear to work.

Does anyone else have that kind of a closet? I have several sizes of clothes and should be okay until I get down to about an 18. I am excited about seeing an 18 because I was a size 24 and now I can wear a 22 and they are loose. The same thing with shirts, I was wearing a 4x and now a 3x is loose. My clothes are fitting me better and I love this. I made up my mind that as they get to big out they go. I may do a give away on my blog or something. I have lots of nice clothes that I wear to work and hate to see them go to waste.

Also today besides posting my food journal I have a recipe that I am going to try and it sounds great so I am including a copy of it today. I call it pizza potato's so anyone who would like to try it and let me know how it turns out.

Congrats on your loss! I think WW teaches you how you can eat for the rest of your life, BEFORE you get to your goal. So when you're there, you know how to carry on.

Hey! We're similar! I too started at a size 24!!! (These days I'm wearing a size 4/6!!!) Yes, it's possible! You too can do this! Just keep doing what you're doing. You're rocking it out!

I know that WW weigh ins are important and the support their is great. Rather than focus on the 1 pound, or the 5 pound star, or the charm you get, let's focus on the 52 plus pounds you will lose this year at this rate. That is amazing !!! And cut out the bagels !!!1

Congrats on the loss! That recipe looks good, too. I think I'll give it a try this weekend!

Well done, Debbie! That's a nice loss.

Don't even start me on the subject of clothes. I could open a clothing store with all the sizes I have in my closet. Almost nothing fits me, though. Many of the items are old enough to have gone out of style (and I probably wore them once or never). It's a mess. I don't even like to think about it, let alone get in there and sort out the mess. On the bright side - that gives me a perfect excuse to buy new clothes. *eye roll*

Congratulations! I just cleaned out my closet, so the only big piece of clothing is my size 14 jeans that I'm hanging onto in case I completely have a bad day!

Congratulations Debbie! A one pound loss is weight loss and one pound healthier.

Definitely have one of those closets, except for a few items, most of my clothes are smaller sizes that don't currently fit. I look forward to fitting in to them soon.

Recipe looks yummy. Enjoy.

Keep up the good work. You make me want to eat a bagel. Not because I think they are very tasty, but because it annoys Allan.
