Mississippi Weekend.

It was a typical Mississippi weekend for me.  We went out to eat on Friday to a place call Up The Creek and it was pretty good.  They had all you can eat fried catfish..  Not me though I got Chicken Alfredo and a salad.  I finished the salad and divided the Alfredo in half and took to home with me.   That's what my husband had for lunch on Saturday.   I am learning to control those eating habits.

Saturday I got up early and went to Walmart and did the grocery shopping thing.  I hate to buy groceries.    I did get some fresh fruit though and some frozen yogurt.  I love ice cream and my sister told me to try frozen yogurt and it was pretty good.  I got the chocolate and I liked it.    I did really well on my eating this weekend and the scales showed it this morning.  I am down 2 lbs...  YEAH!!!  Finally a weight loss after 3 weeks and I really earned it this time.  I have been exercising like a mad woman.   I did the wii everyday and zumba everyday for 30 minutes a piece.   Today I am going to curves at lunch.

Sorry I have not posted for a couple of days, I keep hoping for a faster connection at home, but not yet.   I hope everyone had a great weekend...

I'm glad that you had such a great weekend and congratulations on the loss. It's always good to see that scale moving in the right direction after it takes a vacay for a week or two. :Dchicis

I'm always happy to read your post.

Congrats on the weight loss. You are doing really well. I too am learning to divide stuff in half and I haven't been into a grocery store in about 3 months because we now order on line from an organic place. I really like this system because I don't have to deal with all the stuff I can't have in the supermarket.

My husband and I visited Mississippi about 7 years ago on a detour from Memphis. We just visited Clarkesdale and Oxford but really really loved our experience. Hope we get back there one day because I'd like to explore it properly.

Anyway, keep up the good work.
