Oh my aching Knee

Okay, I went to see my doctor yesterday and he sent me to see a knee specialist.    I had to be there this morning at 8:00 AM and he did  x-ray's and an MRI.  He seems to think that I have torn something, but I hope not.  I am still walking and I can do squats all day.  It hurts me  when I sat for a long time and gets tight on me.  When I am walking it does okay unless I am going up hill for a long time.

I really do not want to have to have surgery on it and not be able to work out for 6 weeks or more.  So everyone keep their fingers crossed for me.    I weighed this morning and I have lost 2 lbs that I did not lose last week.  I hope I can make up for not losing any last week.     You know I hate getting old and everything starting to break down.   I get stiff in places that I use to not get stiff in.   Here are 5 things that I hate about getting old.  I would love to hear from some of you on things that you hate about getting old.

  • Getting stiff in places
  • Wearing reading glasses
  • Wrinkles
  • Age spots
  • Turning grey

This is my list so let me hear from some of you.  Have a nice day.

My failing memory!!!!!

Falling and not being able to get up!

Loss of short-term memory (What was I saying?).

All of my joints cracking in the morning.

Getting dizzy really easily

Maybe that last one is just me!

However, I DO enjoy some parts of getting older...life is richer because of the years accumulating experience.

Hope the knee is not hurting you too much!

Sleeping in one position for too long gives me kinks all over my body, especially my neck!

Oh gosh, I do hope your knee gets better and you don't have to get an op. Getting old? Who's getting old? Not me, actually each birthday I get one year younger. That's my story in any case and I'm sticking to it.

Fingers crossed...and hey, congrats on losing the 2 pounds!!!

Getting older:

Not sleeping through the night
Discovering a long chin hair in the magnifying make up mirror
Needing a magnifying make up mirror!
