Feb. 2, 2011 - Working toward a goal...

I am  working toward losing another 5 lbs before we go on our cruise on the 17th of this month.  I worked with my exercise ball yesterday and I love it and I am going to get on the wii tonight when I get home and do some work outs.  I am also getting a lot of exercise cleaning out our extra bedroom to get ready for the kids to move in this weekend.  Now all I have to do is find some place to put every thing that I have stored in the extra bedroom. 

Lunch today was left overs from last night and the sirloin was still good today.  I love the steamed veggies and they are zero points for a whole cup.  So I had a 7 point lunch and it was great, and a WW choc bar with pretzels in it for 2 points.  Tonight for supper is tacos and I can have two of these and  they are great.  I make them with deer burger and it keeps the points down.  My one weakness is the ice cream and I am going to have my WW fudge bar or two if I have the points at night.    I have learned that if I deprive myself of something that I will only eat something else trying to stop the graving for it.

Tomorrow is weigh in for me again and I am hoping for a good one.   Here is yesterday's food journal and have a great day.



Here is another picture of my baby Freckles under my desk at work this morning.  She came to work with me due to the bad weather at home.

Short term goals are my favorite, easier to focus on and get motivated for. Getting a good sweat going when you exercise may help with this short term goal, if you feel healthy and up to it. I have found when I go for a hard sweaty session versus an endurance session I see better nudges in the scale. Enjoy this mini challenge!
