Day 8 - A big nothing...

I am sitting here with my hands on the keyboard trying to think of something to blog about tonight.  It has been a pretty good day and we are getting ready for snow and some ice tomorrow.  Now any of you bloggers out there from Mississippi knows this will pretty much shut this state down.  We are not prepared for snow and sure as hell not prepared for ice.  I am hoping to get up and get home before it gets bad and I get stuck at deer camp for a few days.

My friend and I went to Walmart this morning to get a few groceries and I actually brought a pair of size 18 Danskin work out pants.  I could not believe it that they actually fit and they are so comfortable.  I got two pair to walk in and exercise in.  So I believe that this is a pretty good NSV for the month of January for me.  I am working toward a 2 lb weight loss this week.  I hope to hit the treadmill when I get home tomorrow and get my walking in.

Okay I am off to read some posts and see what every one is doing tonight.  Have a good night and here is yesterdays food journal..

Congrats on the NSV! Be careful with that weather coming your way. I live near DC and although we usually get at least a little bit of snow, people still freak out about it when it happens (Lord knows why) so I can only imagine the hysteria that might happen in your neck of the woods! Stay indoors!

Brrr, it's so cold and icy here tonight. Ice scares me. I agree, stay inside where it's warm and your safe.

Here's hoping for that 2 lb loss.

Great Job, Debbbie and that is a great NSV too. I've been eyeing those Danskin workout pants too and will probably pick up a couple pairs this week. I love to be comfortable to walking or exercising. I do that nude in the house but didn't think the neighborhood would appreciate my physique if I tried that outside. :)

I have a pair of crop Danskin pants and I love them....I want to go and get another pair but full length since in CT it gets a wee bit cold this time of year
