Friday 12-31-10 Last day of the year and New Start...

Well folks this is it the last day of 2010 and time to shake off any bad habits and recommit to getting healthy.  I feel like I did pretty good on my weight loss in 2010, and maybe I could have lost a little more or lost it faster but I am happy with the progress I made.    Starting today I am going to really jump start my weight loss again and try for at least 2 lbs a week.  The new Weight Watcher program seems to be working for me and I am starting to learn the new point system pretty good.  I am loving all the fruits that I can have for zero points and the veggies also.  So come on 2011 and lets get healthy...

I woke up with all this energy today and I am going to run out to the grocery store this morning and get a few things.  Next on my list of things to do is to clean up the trailer and do laundry.  I am thinking about doing some heavy cleaning today and that will get me some exercise in.  I got my DVD player hooked up and I am going to start doing my Zumba again here today.  I will also get back to posting my journal online starting today.  I have been slack with posting it lately, no reason because I have been keeping it everyday I guess just being lazy with the camera.

I am up early this morning which is surprising due to the fact that I have wanted to sleep late every morning this week.  I have commuted from deer camp to work everyday this week and that is an hours drive each way.  Thank god it is Friday and I am off for three days, and I am going to relax and clean my trailer and Zumba like crazy.

I would like to hear any new year resolutions that you have made for a healthier new year.. Here is my top three things that I am going to shoot for this year.

1.  Lose 20 lbs by April 1st.
2.  Walk in another 5K ( St. Paddy's)
3.  Get into a size 18 pants by April 1st.

So let me hear from some of you....

Debbie, I wish you the best of luck with your resolutions. I never make resolutions usually but this year I want to try to become a kinder, more compassionate person. I want to stop being a judger of the judgers, as Christine calls it. I'm not making my last few pounds part of my resolution. I am at a healthy weight and so I have that to be thankful for but I want to be a better person and more understanding of the challenges that others face. I hope you have a good yesterday. Yesterday was my day to wake with energy and get some major housecleaning done and I do believe that housework is exercise. Scrubbing a garden tub has to count for something, right? :) Hugs!
