Friday 12-10-10 New pictures..

Well we went to our Christmas party and it was a lot of fun.  I had hubby take some pictures of me in my new size 20 pants and 2 x shirt.  I loved this outfit in the store, but was not as happy when I got it all on at home.  Crazy huh...   I would love some feed back from everyone and be truthful about how you think it looks on me.   Clothes are starting to be a problem and I am headed out tomorrow to get at least 2 pair of size 20 jeans and a couple of new bras...  The ta ta's are getting smaller or at least I am getting smaller around.  The crazy thing is my shoes are getting to loose, which is funny.  I thought about it though and when I was slim I wore a size 7-1/2 narrow and now I have been wearing an 8 to a 8-1/2 so maybe my feet are getting slimmer also.

My eating has bee great these last few days and the new program is agreeing with me.  My job has become a nightmare though, I guess it is just not knowing from one day to the next if I am going to have one.  I do not know if we are going to make it through the next couple of weeks or not.  My boss seems to think we may have to shut down without pay for a few weeks until he gets back on his feet.  we will see.

I will post my food journal tomorrow when I have my camera out of hubby's truck.  I hope everyone has a great night...

You look so nice, Debbie! I love the color of the top, and the whole ensemble is really flattering, I think! ♥ Glad your party was fun!

Looking well Debbie, and i'm sorry to hear about the job...seems like everyone is suffering except the gits that caused all these economic problems in the first place!

I am starting to go through different/smaller clothes now too - thankfully i still have loads of clothes that were bought (and then stored as they became too small) during my years of weight gain, a lot of them barely worn, so I have a range of different size clothing that will fit me as I shrink again....I always used to tell myself that i would get back into those clothes someday! lol

Lookin' good, Debbie! I like the necklace you're wearing, too!

Yes, get yourself a couple of new bras - every woman's girls deserve a good "home". The right bra can really change how you look, too.

Just found your blog this morning. I shall return to read more. Job situation frustrations are monumental... hang in there and work toward the future. Remember caring for yourself and your body will better equip you to deal with whatever transpires... in any situation.

Looking good Debbie!!!

You wrote about your shoes getting loose. I've got to be honest, I didn't even give that a thought until you wrote that. It's pretty funny thinking about it now. I've now spent the last 5 minutes staring and poking at my feet wondering what bit will disappear if I hit my target weight LOL.

Hello! I think you look great in your new outfit! The top has a little va va voom to it and the necklace goes perfectly! When you were buying the outfit though, did you try the next size down in your pants? They kind of look like you maybe could have gone a size down (hopefully that's good news to you, lol). Maybe you are actually one size smaller? From watching "What not to Wear" (great source, lol) it seems that sometimes when people lose weight, they refrain from buying clothes that actually 'fit' fit because they equate having clothes that fit up against the skin (i.e. not baggy) to being tight, even though there is a big difference. I think you might have even be able to go a size down :) Have fun at the party and thanks for sharing the new look! :)

My bad, you already went to the party; I had put "have fun at the party" in my post.

I also wanted to comment on the shoe thing. It's so funny because in one of my fav. movies "In Her Shoes" the main character talks about how shoes are the best thing to shop for because no matter what your weight is, they always fit. Well I can attest to the fact that, that is not true! I have big 'ol feet (5'7" and size 10 feet) but I could normally also wear a 9, depending on the brand, when I was a lot thinner. Nowadays, my feet swell by the end of the day and I feel like I could wear an 11! And I can't even wear some of my pointy, more fashionable shoes anymore! :( But congrats on the shoes getting loser! I can't wait till that happens for me!

A few things! I think your outfit looks great. I know what you mean though about looking at yourself in the store and then again when you get home. More and more I find myself buying two outfits with the intention of returning one just so that I have a choice when I get home. Too many "mirror debacles" have taught me, especially as my size changes.

Secondly, sorry about the work situation. Every time I hear about cutbacks or layoffs, I start to sweat because I think I'm about two paycheques from having to sell my place if I were to lose my job.

And finally . . . I saw that you did Allan's Challenge a way back and just wanted to know how you fit it in with WW. Did you count calories as well as your points? Or did you find that just by counting the calories you were automatically within your points values?

thanks!
Michelle

Hi Debbie, thanks for commenting on my blog. You asked for the pineapple salsa recipe....I actually bought the salsa, but it was simply pineapple, red onions, green and red peppers and cilantro with some lime juice squeezed in. It's REALLY good! Let me know if you make it and what you think! :)
