A prize for the craziest diet or gimmick you have tried..

I am so glad it is Friday and that it is going to be a beautiful weekend.  Thanks for all the comments on yesterday's post.   I really got some good advice to do with Weight Watchers and the way I am using my points.  I have not been counting my activity points or using them so all that changes as of today.  I am also going to start trying to use all my points and see if that makes a difference.   I am just going to have to be patience with the slow loss.  I have lost 5 lbs in July though so that is pretty good.   5 lbs a month would give me 60 lbs a year and that is okay.  This seems to work the best for me, and I have tried all kinds of diets and funny things to lose weight.

I would like to hear the funniest thing you ever did or the craziest diet you have tried to lose weight.  My funniest thing was I had a ring put on my ear.  Not the lob, but way up high on my ear.  It was stainless steel and was suppose to trigger something in me to make me lose weight.  My husband had to take it out with a pair of needle nose pliers and it hurt like hell.    I paid some one $75.00 to do this to me.  Okay enough laughing..  So give me at least one funny diet or stupid thing you have done to lose weight.     I am actually going to give a prize for the funniest or the stupidest one.    I have several really cute sweat bands and wrist bands that I got when I purchased my wii and I will give away one set of these.  So leave me a comment or email me and I will pick a winner on Monday.  So lets hear them.

Have a great weekend and here is my food diary from yesterday.

The Master Cleanser! Freshly squeezed lemon juice, Grade B maple syrup, and a dash of cayenne pepper. Several times a day. For months. MONTHS! I bought like a 5-gallon jug of Grade B syrup. ooooy.

Here's a link to the weirdest think I've ever done to try to lose weight.

I can't believe I fell for their poorly designed pamphlet!

Well...I remember when I was about 22 I was going to be in my friend's wedding and I did this diet where you eat nothing but boiled chicken breast and boiled broccoli 4 times a day..and at least a gallon of water a day.

All I remember was being at work and peeing up a storm. The diet lasted a few days before I went across the street for lunch to get a piled high BLT, blueberry cream cheese croissant and big bowl of corn chowder and decided I didn't care how fat I looked in the bridesmaid dress.

I recall about 20years ago using a cream that was supposed to penetrate and melt the fat... cal 3000 or something like that. All it did was give me a rash; don't recommend it.

When I was 19, I wanted to get thin and cute in a hurry. Cocaine, no food and water... Worked...

I weighed 128 lbs and was training to be in a boxing tournament. I was fitted for a bridesmaid dress at that time. Shortly after, I broke my tailbone. The wedding was 750 miles away. I got the dress and decided to retry the dress on. I had gained 20 lbs and the dress wouldn't even zip. I tried to be bulimic but couldn't throw up. I decided to take ONE laxative and drank only juice and water. I pooed all the across the midwest (every 45 minutes). I ended up losing 12 lbs that week and fit into the dress. I have only gone up in weight sine then.

well if it is nopt too late to drop a comment
the "dumbest thing i ever did to loose weight was this diet where you had supplements and one meal a day. by suplements i mean pudding, drinks bars and such.
and by meal my mom (who put me on this diet at whatever age you are in 8th grade) she would make a sliver of veal and some iffy veggies to go with it.
yeah....i couldn't handle the texture of anything beyond the drinks which had to be glugged down with all speed.
now for worest...yeah cause i am that awesome.....
the lap band. i mean it is great for a lot of people but mine has given me so so so many trouble it is now just hanging out in my inards empty and chillin'
