Back on Track

Okay I made a choice yesterday and went by a Weight Watchers meeting.  I weighed in at 265.5 clothes and all on their scales.  I need discipline and I realize this, so I am going to start going back to meetings on Wed afternoon.  This is on my way home and will be easy to do.  Now I have to go home and hunt up my little points calculator and all my books.   I think I will do better if I count my points and write it down every day.  We will see...

I brought a turkey sandwich today with chips and a homemade pickle for lunch.  I am allowed 31 points a day so I should be okay.  I will be posting my points for each day the day after so everyone can see how I did.   I am back on my wii every night and zumba every other night so this should help with the weight loss.  Plus I get extra points for exercise.  I also have one of their going out to eat books so this will help when we go out like tonight.

I have done some hard things in my life, but losing weight is the hardest.  It has to be on my mind 24 hours a day.  I have to think about everything I eat or drink.  I am going to do this thought.  I read so many blogs that are successful and I know it can be done.    I will post my WW diary tomorrow for today so if any one has any ideas on what I am eating or suggestions on different choices, please feel free to comment.

Have a nice day and I am off to catch up on today's posts...

WW is a great program. I tried it, but the meeting time in my area did not work out. They do teach good habits that can be followed for life. And that's what this is, a good habit that we have to keep forever!

Hey Debbie! Way to go on joining WW. As you know I follow it, have the books, but I don't go to the meetings or use the online thing either. I find it kind of expensive and I've still not ruled it out as an option, but for now I'm going to try on my own. As for your comment about the weather, I'm in Ottawa Ontario (North of Syracuse New York) and since we're all metric and stuff, that was 43 degrees celcius with humidity, which would be 109 F in non-metric speak :) We don't usually have Mississippi weather around here.. it's usually around 24 Celcium/75 Fahrenheit :) Go easy on the diet soda, 1 or 2 max per day, I like the new diet pepsi lime. Even if they are diet, the sodium and asparthame can mess with your water retention... especially when it's hot out. You're doing awesome! I can e-mail you some excel sheets that you can track your points or a link to a online place to buy pre-made food trackers with really pretty covers. I use my Iphone and a app called IWatchr. Love it!

Great plan!! I love WW.

Just a thought but in one of my WW meetings the teacher said you would loose faster if you didnt eat your exercize points. But they are there if you need them.

Good luck. I can't wait to keep up on your progress.

Good for you! I can't do too much countingon my plan or I become obsessed with "scores" so I just try not to think of the daily intake or points or any of that. Wish I could so that I could lose faster, in a way. You ROCK!

Good for you, just remember any step you take to your journey is one in the right direction. I did weight watchers years ago and lost a ton of weight, this time around with two kids it is a bit harder to make the meetings so I am trying something different. Best of luck , I know you can do this!
