Another Day

Well it is Wednesday and I am half way through my week and I am down a 1/2 lb this morning.   I do not know why I weigh everyday?   Habit maybe I don't know, but I do.   I did go shopping for some new scales last weekend and I was surprised how many different kinds of scales that they have.   And some were really pricey and hard to figure out.    So I was wondering what kind of scales everyone has and how often do you weigh?    Let me know....

I will post a longer post at lunch..  Have a good morning.

I found your blog from another one I love. I think you and I are on a similar journeys. As far as scales go I just bought one that tracks your weight between weigh in and can record up to four different people's weight. I am a big fan, well up until my son stepped on my scale and when I got on it today it said I had gained 215 pounds when I really lost about half a pound!

Just found your blog. I use my Wii Fit to weigh in every morning.

I used to weigh everyday too but I would get discouraged when I would see any minor fluctuation. That my dear led to BAAAAAD things. lol.
I got my scale for free from a vendor promotion at my work. It's by a company called Escali and it's a High Capacity (goes up to 440lbs) body fat/body water monitoring...thingy mabob. It works, the numbers are consistent. I don't use any of the special features and I don't have the patience to fight with the darn monitoring part of it. If you look on Amazon it's got 4 stars and it's about 45 bucks.
Kinda pricey but it works.

I also use my Wii Fit to weigh, but I only weigh in once a week. I've tried the weighing every day and it makes me crazy, lol!

I use one of the old school scales that you can calibrate yourself...not to be confused with the ones at the doctor's office. I used to weight everyday, but as you know, I am giving it up for 5 weeks!!! Though many people use digital scales, I didn't find them extremely reliable.

Not exactly sure the make & model of our scale but it is a Weight Watchers scale. It is supposed to give us BMI and other numbers too other than just weight but all we use it for is weight. I weigh in once a week on Sunday's and will usually peek at my weight on Wednesdays to see if I am making progress. I used to weigh daily and it just made me mad every day I gained even .1 pounds. I am convinced that daily weighing for me has been reason in the past why I quit. That's just me though.

I have a digital scale but I haven't been using it as I go to a counsellor and get weighed on her scales once a month. I know many people that weigh everyday but I couldn't. The daily up and down would drive me batty.
